Khalila Williams, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine veterinarian who joined the MedVet Toledo team in 2018. Dr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Portland in Portland, OR, before going on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Williams completed a yearlong small animal rotating internship at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, followed by a cardiology internship at MedVet Cincinnati.
Passionate for all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Williams maintains a special interest in veterinary cardiology. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is witnessing the unique qualities of the human-animal bond. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Williams enjoys running and hiking with her two dogs.
