Laurel Fisher, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Toledo where she has been part of the medical team since 2015. Dr. Fisher attended the University of Findlay where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She completed her clinical year at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Fisher worked in Southern Ohio as a general practitioner and after-hours emergency veterinarian before joining MedVet Toledo full time. Dr. Fisher has a special interest in emergency surgeries and cardiopulmonary emergencies.She appreciates how emergency medicine is challenging, exciting, and constantly enables her to learn and evolve. When not treating patients, Dr. Fisher enjoys motorcycle riding, boating, and hiking with her two dogs.
